The new temporary
exhibition The
helpers of the Secret Annexe opens today in the Anne Frank
House. Original letters, photos, artefacts and eyewitness interviews
will give visitors to the museum a vivid impression of the helpers of
the people in hiding in the Secret Annexe: who they were, what they did
and the risks they took. It is the first time that a special exhibition
has been dedicated to the helpers.
During the summer period – from
1 April to 1 November – the Anne Frank House will once again be open
for longer hours. The museum is now open daily from 9AM to
9PM, and until 10PM on Saturdays. In the busy summer months of
July and August the museum is open until 10PM every day.
Anne Frank in the
Secret Annexe: who was who? offers a new
portrait of the people in hiding and their helpers, who were rendered
unforgettable by Anne Frank’s diary. The e-book is featuring many
previously unpublished photos. As a reader of our newsletter you can
