A Galeria Nara Roesler tem o prazer de anunciar a
abertura de Roesler Hotel #24: Cães
sem Plumas [prólogo]. Com curadoria
de Moacir dos Anjos, a mostra reúne artistas visuais brasileiros de
gerações diversas, agrupados em torno de uma invenção de linguagem de
João Cabral de Melo Neto. Um "cão sem plumas", segundo o
poeta, "é quando uma árvore sem voz. / É quando de um pássaro /
suas raízes no ar. / É quando a alguma coisa / roem tão fundo / até o
que não tem". A exposição é sobre aqueles que, no Brasil, vivem na
iminência de perder o que lhes confere humanidade - sobre pessoas que
vivem à margem de quase tudo que outros já alcançaram.

Nara Roesler is pleased to announce the opening of Roesler Hotel #24: Cães
sem Plumas [prólogo].
Curated by Moacir dos Anjos, the show brings together Brazilian visual
artists of different generations around an expression created by João
Cabral de Melo Neto. A "featherless dog", according to the
poet, "is when a tree without voice. / It is when like a bird /
its roots in the air. / It is when something is so deeply / gnawed it
is gnawed / to what it doesn't have". It is an exhibition about
those who, in Brazil, live on the verge of losing what defines their
humanity - about people who live in the margin of almost everything
others have achieved.
