Galeria Nara Roesler convida para a abertura da exposição de Julio Le
Parc, Uma busca
contínua, no dia 3 de outubro, quinta-feira, a partir das
19h.
Com
curadoria de Estrellita B. Brodsky, a mostra percorre mais de 50 anos
da produção artística de Le Parc, incluindo tanto sua pesquisa da
fenomenologia das estruturas através da pintura bidimensional, como
seus ambientes imersivos e instalações de grande porte. Sua obra tem o
papel desestabilizador de provocar a interação do indivíduo com o
ambiente exigindo, simultaneamente, que tal envolvimento seja
reconhecido.
Às
17h30, o artista e a curadora participam de conversa aberta ao público.

Uma busca contínua
[A constant quest] on October 3, Thursday, from 7 p.m.
Curated
by Estrellita B. Brodsky, the show traverses over 50 years of Le Parc's
artistic production, including both his research on the phenomenology
of structures through two-dimensional painting, as his immersive
environments and large installations. His work has a destabilizing role
of inducing the viewer's interaction with the environment requiring,
simultaneously, that such involvement is acknowledged.
At
5:30 pm, the artist and the curator will engage in an open conversation
with the visiting public.
