Cette exposition, à la fois chronologique et thématique, propose une relecture de l'œuvre d'Henri Cartier-Bresson par Clément Chéroux, conservateur au cabinet de la photographie du Centre Pompidou. Le public est invité à parcourir plus de soixante-dix ans d'une œuvre de celui que l'on a surnommé « l'œil du siècle ». Le catalogue À l'occasion de cette rétrospective sur l'une des figures majeures de la modernité, un catalogue retraçant la totalité de l'exposition, est publié par les Editions du Centre Pompidou (49,90€). Quand je photographie quelque chose, je suis cette chose…comme si je priais.   Guido Guidi. Pour la première fois en France, une institution consacre une exposition à Guido Guidi, figure majeure de la photographie contemporaine italienne, qui considère la photographie comme un prolongement du regard, une manière de vivre. Les quarante ans de carrière du photographe, pionnier du renouveau de la photographie du territoire, sont retracés sur deux étages. L’exposition est accompagnée d’un catalogue publié par MACK avec une introduction d’Agnès Sire, commissaire de l’exposition et un essai de Marta Dahó, historienne de la photographie. MACK vient de publier également Preganziol, 1983. Cette série, réalisée il y a 30 ans entre les quatre murs d’une cabane de jardinier abandonnée de Preganziol, est présentée sous sa forme originale dans la vitrine du deuxième étage. Cette exposition sera présentée à Huis Marseille, Amsterdam du 14 juin au 7 septembre 2014 puis au Museo d’Arte della Città de Ravenne du 11 octobre 2014 au 11 janvier 2015. en partenariat avec   CURRENTLY: GUIDO GUIDI, Veramente From January 16th to April 27th, Fondation HCB is showing an important exhibition of Guido Guidi, a major figure of Italian contemporary photography scene. When I photograph something, I am this thing...as if I prayed. Guido Guidi For the first time in France, an institution presents an extensive exhibition of Guido Guidi's work. He considers photography as an extension of his eyes, a way of life. The forty years career of the photographer is shown on the two floors of the museum. Guidi, a pioneer of new Italian landscape photography, was influenced by architectural history, neorealist Italian film, and conceptual art. To complete the exhibition, a catalogue has been published by Editions MACK with an introduction by Agnès Sire, curator of the exhibition and an essay by Marta Dahó, historian of photography. MACK also recently published Preganziol, 1983. Those photographs were taken thirty years ago within the confines of four bare walls of a gardener's shack. It is presented in its original form in the showcase of the second floor. This exhibition will be touring at Huis Marseille, Amsterdam from June 14th to September 7th 2014, and then at the Museum of fine art, Ravenna, from October 11th to January 11th 2015.
